Presently, oil is over $100 a barrel and OPEC cannot predict a ceiling price in the coming months ahead, and today we have an administration in office that comes from a petroleum background. Recently, but reluctantly, an energy bill was passed and signed by President Bush, but dose little to aid the economy or resolve our current dependency on foreign oil.
Listening to the debates on television and the Internet along with reviewing Senator Obama's web site; I feel he is the only candidate with a strong, comprehensive and viable solution to my country's energy needs. Also, I'm sure Senator Obama will not have his staff edit to his administration approval, recommendations he will receive from the scientific community, like our current administration has done in the past.
The video is a spoof, rendering one man's frustration with the rising costs of gas.

Carol Browner spoke at America's Impact event, "Energy, the Environment, and America's Role in the World", Wednesday, June 14, 2007 in Washington DC. She spoke on global warming, renewable energy, and the need for new congressional leaders to ensure environmental policy that truly makes a difference.
Our next Legislative and Executive Branches of government must, in earnest, start recognizing the Global Warming and Greenhouse effects our industries, and we as individuals, are creating for our children and grandchildren to exist in.
The Bush Administration has done little to none on these issues and our incoming President elect needs to be both a leader, to us the American people, and statesperson to the international community to implement change in developing nations attempting to develop a stable economy.
Personally, Senator Obama is the mostly likely candidate to spark the needed motivation within us Americans and strong develop to face his peers in this aforementioned community.

Throughout America, the immigration issue is a major concern for voters and candidates alike; we can talk about the war in Iraq, but it's not in our communities, we can discuss environmental concerns, but if don't see affects of the Greenhouse concerns, then it is only discussed. But, we live with, work with, and shop with immigrants daily; not only for the large city dwellers, but also in our rural and small communities, we have become accustom to new residents from other countries, many here illegally and others not that are here legally.
Furthermore, we are aware that our nation was founded by immigrants, our relatives, so, we somewhat understand and emphasize with our new neighbors and fellow co-workers. All the immigrants really want is the same as our forefathers, better life! So, how did this problem get so out of hand?
Simply stated, we didn't enforce our current immigration laws, instead, employers exploited the new immigrants (lower wages), and, so what, if these businesses were caught with illegal immigrants, the fine(s) were so small versus the money they saved, it was only "good business", our "American way".
Now, we're forced to deal with this touchy issue; enacting new laws and hiring law enforcement officials to enforce them.
Presently, do we have strong enough Congress or President to do such? "No"!
This coming election, is one of the most important we have had in the last fifty years; look carefully at all the candidates and the issues of today, don't be locked into a certain party or personality, study all them and most importantly "vote".
I support Senator Obama and his proposed solution to this issue.
